Hal Buckley and his trusted sidekick Kasei-La the Space-Girl!

Appearance: Have you ever read a Flash Gordon comic? Ever seen Star Trek, with the chisel-jawed hero and barrel-chest? Yeah, that's Hal. He's 6'2, and weighs a perfect 225 lb. He has perfectly cut red hair, and lots of body-hair as well, as was the 50s ideal of manliness at the time. (Nothing too nasty, though.) His eyes are a deep brown, and his teeth are gleaming white, as well as implausibly straight. His voice is deep, and peculiarly sounds a lot like Humphrey Bogart's voice, which makes it perfect to hand out morals at the end of an adventure to an invisible audience.

His pet baboon, Zippy the Space Monkey is... Just a baboon. Like, there's nothing special about a baboon. They all look pretty similar.

Outfit: Can you make that out? Alright, now imagine that suit in gaudy bright blue, with a big Union Jack in the middle of it, wrapping around his torso. Also give him a chrome jetpack, and a 1950s laser gun at his side. (Like the one you see in the Jetsons). Underneath that he has the George Jetson style tights, except in white on top and black on bottom, with a belt that has an Earth shaped belt-buckle.

Zippy wears the same thing, monkey-sized.

Personality: Hal is an archetypal hero type, with a bleeding heart, sense of self-righteousness, cheesy way of doing things, and 50s sensibilities. (Although, in his universe, this sort of belief is JUST emerging). He's a bit of a bigot against aliens, but does not have the same prejudice against other human races as we would find on Earth at the time he seems to mimic (why beat on brown when you can team up with brown to beat on green?). He's also sexist, and has a minor dependence on technology. (Except when the plot calls for it.) He has a strong moral code, and is rather hammy in how he does things, like everything is a performance.

Name: Kasei-La (pronounced "Casey")

Occupation: Sidekick/Ward of the Hero of Outer Spaaaace!

Age: 12 and a Half

------------------------------------

Appearance: Kasei-La is a short Venusian girl, only around 4'7 and skinny as a toothpick. She has blue skin, and an anglerfish style antenna on her forehead, as well as brownish-purple hair, immediately giving her away as an alien. She has darker blue freckles on her nose, and pink eyes that seem to accent them somewhat. Her hair goes down to her shoulders, and doesn't seem to want to stay straight as it is incredibly messy. She also has an extra finger on each hand, though you probably won't notice at first glance.

Outfit: Same as Hal's, only pink and red in terms of the space suit. She wear's a pink sari-style outfit underneath that.

Personality: Although she tries to appear eager, Kasei-La has a naturally sarcastic streak to her, as well as a fear of Zippy the Space Monkey, as she has actually read a few books on baboons and knows that they are aggressive and territorial creatures. She's quick to notice the inconsistencies and hypocrisies in the world around her, and does not hesistate to find their source, or, if she can not do that, at least make a snarky comment about it. She acts more mature than a human her age would, and seems to be rather cynical for someone who frequently sees good triumph over evil on a regular basis. Unlike Hal, she doesn't see the world as black and white, and is more willing to forgive people who could be considered evil with enough justification, but is also quick to point out flaws in any "good" person as well.

Age: Inconsistent

Gender: Inconsistent (Time isn't very sensible in Purgatory, and constantly shifts, slowing down, speeding up, and going backwards or forwards in leaps.)

Appearance: Inconsistent, though he will initially appear as his birth form, a scraggly, scrawny looking man with pale skin, greasy, long blonde hair, and in desperate need of a shave. Something about him makes it hard to pinpoint his height, as if he's constantly stretching and squishing to match up with the universe.

Personality: The only thing consistent about Denton outside of Hell, Heaven, or Purgatory. Denton 119 is a conscripted fighter pilot, forced to go up against enemy forces from both Heaven and Hell, while being severely undertrained. He's paranoid, aggressive, and both a loner and someone who desperately needs attention at the exact same time. He grew up in the city of Ark, where he worked in the factories to produce weaponry, before being drafted into the air force at 18, and has been fighting for only a few months, he thinks.

Note: As Denton is currently Quin's shadow, he is not much of a character at the moment. I'll bring him back when I feel I can play him better.
