Quin the Mage

Fine. This is my last character. Seriously. I'll quit right after this. I don't have an addiction. Nope, not at all.

Name: Quin D'Ardennes
Nickname: Q, Lily (what his parents would name him if he was a girl)

Occupation: Mage, High-School Graduate

Appearance: Quin is a 6'00 tall man with long, dark brown hair and very pale skin. He's skinny, with little to no muscle build, but has rather broad shoulders despite that. On his right eyebrow is a scar from being hit in the face with a shovel when he was six, although it's barely noticeable now. He affects a goatee and side burns, which look good on him now, but he insists they once looked rather horrible on him. He also has a burn on his right thumb. His eyes are a dark green with little brown lines in them, and his teeth are an off-white thanks to irregular brushing habits over the past two years of his life.

Outfit: Quin wears a thick, zip-up, brown sweater which has a turtle neck. It's collar has been chewed rather frequently, though many washes in the past seem to hide this. He wears a felt top hat that's a little dirty, but otherwise in perfect condition, as well as a dress shirt with a bow-tie and vest underneath his sweater. He wears black dress pants, and black, zip-up leather boots that have been well worn through many years of trekking through snow. He has fingerless gloves that are covered in countless runes and symbols, all hailing from different cultures. He also adorns several strings coated in various charms, wrapped around different parts of his body.

Personality: Ever the optimist, Quin always finds a reason to smile eventually. However, he is easily hurt by people he considers friends, which leads to him becoming much quieter than he usually is as he broods. Rarely does he take things seriously, but when he does, he becomes increasingly stubborn and manipulative to the point that he almost seems like a hateful human being. Beyond that, Quin has the tendency to pace when he thinks, and zone out when he thinks really hard. He has a nasty habit of remembering things he doesn't feel like innorportune moments, leading him to vocally declare that he's an idiot or something similar. Not perfectly tactful, Quin can be grating to be around when you don't want him to, but is otherwise a truly dear and loyal friend to anyone who is willing to give him a chance.

For all intents and purposes, Mr. Id is temporarily out of town, looking to gain more power. I'm bring him back when Samhain comes around in Wayside, which gives us a year in game.
